CAPE COD LIVE STEAMERS INC. AT A GLANCE
Cape Cod Live Steamers Inc. was started back in 1994 when four people who each owned they're own 7-1/4 gauged locomotives decided to join together to create a railroad where all four could run together. After forming the small group they started operating at Edaville. However, down the road the club needed to find a new location as Edaville was transforming most of its area into carnival rides. While trying to find land to stick the small track site at, the club ended up getting in contact with someone who owned a small composting land up in Sandwich. He had some unused land sitting around and invited the club to build on the property. Ever since the mid to late 90's, the track still operates there in the same location! This club actually didn't run for 2 years and was on the verge of being sold. Now, a new owner takes on the railroad!
WHAT WE DO
Cape Cod Live Steamers operates a small 7-1/4Â inch gauge railroad. Our purpose is to educate the public and our members of different rail operations.
